about us

Out Of the Woods Rescue is a no-kill organization lead by dedicated volunteers. We strive to make every intake have a better quality of life and to know the true meaning of finding their Fur-ever home.

Out of the Woods Rescue was established in 2018 by a group of veterinary professionals and animal caregivers. Our strong medical background helps us fulfill our goal of taking in and rehoming neglected and abandoned animals, especially those dealing with illness. The Rescue team has more than ten years of experience with animal medicine and welfare. This background allows us to care for animals who are ill and may otherwise be facing euthanasia. In addition to helping sick and senior pets, Out of the Woods Rescue also partners with Southern Puppy Rescue bringing abandoned puppies from the South to new homes in the Pennsylvania and New Jersey areas. The Rescue team is completely run on a volunteer basis and operates through donations. If you are able to donate, please click on our donations tab for links to our PayPal and Amazon accounts.

My fiancé and I just recently adopted our very first dog from Out Of The Woods- his name is Cricket and he is the sweetest lil' senior chihuahua. We cannot say enough great things about this rescue.. You can tell just how much they care about and care for their rescue animals. They're such sweet and genuine people and never made us feel obligated or pressured in the slightest!

PUPPIES (under 1 year of age)…$500-$650

Adoption donation includes: Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Current Health Certificate signed by licensed Veterinarian, Current on age appropriate vaccines, Dewormed, Started on first Flea/Tick & Heartworm preventatives

kittens (under 1 year of age)…$150

Adoption donation includes: Spay/Neuter, Microchip, current on age appropriate vaccines, Dewormed, Started on first Flea/Tick preventatives.

ADULT DOGS (1-7 years of age)…$300

cats (1-6 years of age)…$125

Adoption donation includes: Spay/Neuter, Microchip, current on age appropriate vaccines, Dewormed, Started on first Flea/Tick preventatives.

SENIOR DOGS and/or dogs needing medical treatment (8 years and up)…$100

Adoption donation includes: Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Current Health Certificate signed by licensed Veterinarian, and or Health waiver form needed for adoption. Current on age appropriate vaccines, Dewormed, Started on first Flea/Tick & Heartworm preventatives.
